BELLAbond Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

BELLABOND Pressure Sensitive Adhesive is a solvent-free, non-flammable, freeze-thaw stable adhesive specifically designed for the installation of vinyl tile, and vinyl plank along with both vinyl-backed and non-vinyl backed carpet tiles. BELLABOND PSA can also be used for the installation of cushion-backed vinyl flooring and approved cushions in a double glue-down application. This adhesive has high shear strength, fast dry times, and low VOC’s.

Approved Substrates

Concrete / Portland based underlayment / Property prepared gypcrete / lightweight concrete / APA rated playwood / Terrazzo / Radiant headed floors / Single layer of approved, fully-adhered rsiilent flooring

Substrate Preparation

All substrates should be prepared in accordance with flooring manufacturers guidelines and/or ASTM F710. Moisture tests are required on all concrete subfloors regardless of age or elevation. Moisture testing must be performed in accordance with the most current ASTM F1869 Standard Test Method for Measuring Moisture Vapor Emission Rate of Concrete Subfloor Using Anhydrous Calcium Chloride, with levels not to exceed 10 lbs. per 24 hours per 1000 sf and ASTM F2170 Standard Test Method for Determining Relative Humidity in Concrete Floor Slabs Using in situ Probes with readings not exceeding 95%.

Storage

Protect adhesive from freezing. Store material in temperature-controlled buildings.

Shelf Life

Unopened packaging stored in proper conditions have a shelf life of 2 years.
